IMPORTANT: The jacuzzi only works as a swimming pool, the hot water does not work due to maintenance.

The only way to get to our hotel in Playa Guachalito is by boat, available at specific times and with an additional cost. From Nuquí airport, the trip to the beach takes about 30 minutes in a private boat equipped with cushions, life jackets and a roof tent, always accompanied by a captain and a sailor.
We offer pick-up service at the airport for groups of 4 people or more, with an additional cost round trip. Departures are at 1:00 pm and return at 9:00 am. If you prefer a chartered service, it has a higher cost. We are available at the hotel to help you schedule transportation; please contact us.

REGULATIONS AND RULES OF THE HOTEL MERAKI 1.- REGISTRATION All guests, both individuals and groups, must fill out the guest registration form or link individually. 2. CLEANING OF ROOMS Rooms will be cleaned in the morning, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Guests who do not make their rooms available during these hours will not have their rooms cleaned. Both individual and group guests are informed that in this establishment the room linens are changed every third night of stay by the same client. 3. OBLIGATION OF THE GUEST TO PROVIDE INFORMATION It is the obligation of the guests to inform the Hotel management of contagious diseases or illnesses, deaths, infractions or crimes that occur in the establishment and are known to them, so that the Hotel can in turn, take appropriate measures and report immediately to the authorities when appropriate. If the guest suffers from allergies, he/she must notify the hotel 3 days prior to the check-in date. If a guest becomes ill, the hotel reception shall call a doctor and he/she may be treated in his/her room at the guest's expense; if the illness is contagious, the guest shall be taken to the appropriate place at his/her own expense. 4. GUEST CHECK-IN AT THE HOTEL The check-in time to enter the room shall be from 3:00 p.m. onwards, and the check-out time shall be no later than 10:00 a.m., otherwise an additional night's stay shall be charged. In the event that for personal reasons the guest must check in after 8:00 p.m., he/she must give 24 hours notice prior to arrival. We recommend that upon arrival you check the inventory of the room because at the time of your withdrawal will be reviewed and in case of missing or damaged must be covered by the guest for another equal product or failing that will be charged at its price. 5. USE OF SERVICES The services provided by the Hotel must be used in accordance with the rules of good faith, without being understood included in the price the waste or disproportionate use of them, help us to keep the rates low and accessible as well as to care for the environment. Guests are asked to use the elements of the room moderately and rationally, taking care of them properly; likewise all guests when leaving the room, should leave the windows, entrance doors, water faucets closed and turn off fans, lights. 6. STAY IN THE HOTEL Guests may take or leave their room keys with them or leave them at the reception or administration desk until 8:00 p.m. each time they leave the establishment. In no case, the number of people staying in each room may exceed the capacity assigned by the Hotel to each room. 7. CLEANING OF ROOMS Rooms will be cleaned in the morning, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Guests who do not make their rooms available during these hours will not have their rooms cleaned. SECURITY MEASURES The hotel has a safe deposit box service and is not responsible for loss or misplacement of jewelry and valuables left in the rooms. 9. SILENCE AND RESPECT FOR OTHER GUESTS AND HOTEL PERSONNEL From 10:00 p.m. in all rooms the acoustic volume must be moderated. Please also respect the night silence in the corridors and stairways. From 11:00 p.m. onwards, guests are requested to maintain absolute silence. Any disturbing behavior should be avoided, for the rest of the guests of the hotel. 10. DAMAGE, DIRTINESS, LOSS OF KEYS In case of damage to the property or hotel furnishings, as well as loss of keys, it is the person causing the damage who pays for the damage caused. Payments of this type are made immediately and in cash (in the case of groups, the responsible party is the organizer and/or representative, so it is he who must advance the amount). Theft or intentional damage will be reported immediately to the police. It is forbidden to perform any act that causes damage or harm to the Hotel or other guests, or conduct contrary to decorum or social behavior. 11. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS Persons representing the Hotel or providing services inherent to the lodging shall have free access to the rooms occupied by the guests. In the event that guests are absent for more than twenty-four hours without prior notice to the administration, the lodging may be terminated or suspended, as the case may be, and luggage may be collected. 12. ACCIDENTS OR EVENTS WITHIN THE HOTEL Each guest is covered by the comprehensive medical assistance policy within the hotel facilities. 13. RECOMMENDATIONS - Do not throw paper or sanitary towels in the toilet, use the wastepaper baskets. - Do not lie down on the beds with wet clothes. - Wash your feet before entering the rooms. Footbaths are located at the entrance of each cabin. - The hotel asks guests not to spread clothes or towels on the railings of the cabins. - If you use sunscreen, please do not use the sheets/towels without removing it, as it leaves stains that are almost impossible to remove. 14. PROHIBITIONS - The consumption of toxic drugs, narcotics or psychotropic substances is prohibited in any area of the hotel. - Do not leave food residues in the rooms. - It is forbidden to disturb the order or cause discomfort to other users within the establishment, use the electrical current and mechanical equipment installed in the rooms for purposes other than those for which they are intended. - They may not lodge in their rooms persons different from those registered and in any case, they shall give prior notice to the administration of any variation in the number or identification of the persons originally registered. - Visitors of the guests will not be allowed to stay overnight. Nor may persons other than those who have contracted the services come to enjoy them. - It is expressly forbidden to make annoying noises, provoke altercations, and in general, any act that disturbs or inconveniences other guests. - In accordance with the provisions of Law 1335 of 2009, Resolution 0228 February 2015 of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms and enclosed spaces within the hotel. 15. NON-COMPLIANCE WITH HOTEL RULES In case of breach of one or more of the above conditions and/or prohibitions, the Hotel has the right to immediately terminate the accommodation contract. The customer is also obliged to pay for all the days of accommodation specified in the reservation. The rights of the establishment and of the guests to report to the competent authorities any facts constituting an illicit act or giving rise to liability for any of the parties in their persons and property, as long as they occur within the hotel, remain unaffected. 16. Accommodation Policy for Minors: The hotel informs that all minors must obligatorily stay with their parents or legal guardians. Minors will not be admitted without the company of their parents or legal guardians. Commitment against Child Exploitation: Our hotel is firmly committed to the fight against child and sexual exploitation. In compliance with Law 679 of 2001 of the Colombian Government, we are committed to prevent, block, combat and denounce exploitation, sexual abuse and other forms of exploitation affecting children and adolescents. IMPORTANT: It is understood that at the moment of making the reservation effective, the client and/or guest knows and expressly and tacitly manifests that he/she accepts in its entirety the present internal regulations of Hotel MERAKI, being in accordance and agreement with all the aforementioned points.
